Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA) welcomed Mr. Arslan Malik from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for an institutional visit aimed at exploring avenues of collaboration and strengthening engagement on scientific and regulatory systems. During the visit, discussions focused on the importance of internationally aligned standards, institutional capacity building, and the role of modern scientific infrastructure in supporting safer and more transparent systems in Pakistan.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured PAFDA’s state-of-the-art laboratories, where officials showcased advanced testing facilities and scientific processes related to food, agriculture, and drug safety. The visit highlighted PAFDA’s commitment to strengthening quality assurance, public safety, and scientific excellence through collaboration with national and international partners working towards sustainable and secure communities.
